Holden Astra 2005 AH coupe

Hi all i bought my first holden astra today and noticed while driving home the fans and heater controls dont work also the cruise control doesnt work either maybe they are connected on the same wire or fuse i checked the fuse seems ok also the emission light came on the owner of the car i bought it from says its cause the key is broken and rattles in the ignition i think it could be a o2 sensor.

fans and heater control could be bad connection or blower motor
cruise control: either stalk or brake switch
emissions light: most likely o2 sensor. nothing to do with key
