Hiya geezas,

right i was wondering if holden will look at me funny if i go in there and ask for that stiker which tell the chiggas about your tyre size. Basically i need to crack an Asta turbo one on mine so that if the whoop whoop do take a look it says standard 16 there for i can stick 17's on! Very crafty thing is i have an elabortate story made up just wandering if they somehow need ure rego and track the car to the owner to prevent people doing this? hehe im a shady one

so u can even put 18s if u like? aslong as the thickness is small?

As long as the rolling diameter is okay, yes you can if you can find an 18x6 wheel.

Insurance will be the ones who stress diameter, RTA says width.

NRMA dont care about diameter either.. as long as its approved by the RTA.. i.e. 1" wider than what it says on the tyre placard.

They would probably look at you funny but just say you've had your car repaired.

A few guys I know of got tyre placards from their local BMW dealer without any hassles. Just go straight to the parts desk.

Bet you might need a VIN number from a turbo though.

i have 17's on my barina.. a lot of people have 17's

just go 17 x 7 and you will be right.. as long as the rolling diameter is less than 2% more

He has a B, standard wheel fitment was 5.5in wide.
Same with 2001 build non-SRi's. Making 7in wheels illegal in the RTAs guidelines.
