Hmm, not sure if I'm a fan of that.

"Holden customers can now purchase a new car “from the comfort of their own couch”, with the company today launching a new online store.

Buyers will be able to purchase a new Holden from 'end-to-end' via the new website, which offers consumers the ability to pick a car, select its build specifications, trade-in an existing car, organise finance and complete the deal by scheduling a home delivery."

Unlike Telsa where the price is fixed, why wouldn't you go to a dealer to see if you can get a lower price?

Trade in a car without an inspection?

Exactly my concerns among others. But Holden seems that this is the way forward for the new Insignia uhhhh Commodore I mean.

It may work for Ferrari with a take it or leave it price, but not Holden.

I can't imagine the dealers would be too concerned about it.

The dealer would still deliver the car and would follow up on service and maintenance it seems. I don't know, maybe in the future this is the only way to buy a car but for now I prefer to see/touch/drive before I buy.
