Hi,

My 2013 OPC Astra remote broke last week.
Holden have quoted me $350 to replace the remote. I suspect they will clone of my backup set.
However, it doesn't appear to be a genuine OPC badged FOB. Just an Opel one.

This is my old broken FOB
6501

I've found a place in the UK that sells this and was wondering if anyone new whether it's the same as the Australian version ?

If i bought and had it cut in the UK for $10 is there anyone accept Holden who can reprogram/clone it in Brisbane?

Hey mate, did you have any luck with ordering this key from "carkeysonline?" My OPC fob is also cracked and would like to replace it for a new genuine OPC one. I Have used "carkeysonline" before and they have been great, unfortunately I can't add this item to my cart. Not sure if it's out of stock or not available anymore. I have emailed them and waiting for a response.

Well, looks like carkeysonline had one of the genuine OPC remotes left in stock. I have purchased it and will let you guys know how it goes. They are cutting the key to my key code, I won't be getting it programmed just going to swap the transponder and circuit board over from the old one.

I tried to buy it but there is no "ADD" on the web page. I sent them 2 emails without a reply. Do you have a contact email. Desperate to find some one who can sell this key Fob.

Erick,

carkeysonline informed me they only had one left in stock, I'm not sure if they can get anymore in. I just contacted them using their online question/contact form perhaps you could try that and see if they can order anymore in for you.

Autovaux in the UK shows it as a part they can order in
http://www.autovaux.co.uk/product/13404602-keyreadycutfoldi.aspx

Theae guys in the UK are the sister company of Autovaux, I searched the part number on their site and it comes up as an item they can order also.
http://www.genuinepartsearch.co.uk

The specific part number you would be after is Gm 13404602, that is the part number that is specific for the OPC Remote.

This site is really helpful for identifying parts for our cars, it is basically the Opel Electronic parts catalogue. As you can see number 9 is the correct remote.
