Turbo upgrade for 1.6 holden cruze

Does anyone know if I can put on a upgraded turbo the engine is a16let

You probably can, but obviously you'll need the supporting mods and tune to go with. Best bet would be to see what they do with Corsa VXR/OPC models to get a rough guideline.

Only thing to be wary of is with your tune. The Z16LEx and A16LEx series of engines have a habit of melting number 4 piston, particularly if your tune results in higher cylinder temps. Most people would normally just throw a decent set of forged pistons in, but you may want to look into something like water methanol injection to try and keep the cylinder temps down.
