I recently left my car in the street for a week or so and came back to discover that the rear drive door had a sloshing sound coming from inside it. I pulled the water plugs from the bottom and low and behold water gushed out!! How could this be?! Could it be just a blocked plug? Any suggestions welcome for a fix.

I'll be watching it closely and listening for water sloshing.

Thanks.

Water would be sloshing because the plugs are blocked and holding water in. Hence it ran out when you removed them. Leave them out and it sjould be alright. Just keep check that it doesnt block up with dirt in future

you got 2 little oval rubber plugs on the rear doors. check if the small flap is loose.

Yeah, I saw those and actually removed one altogether so the water could escape. How normal is this??

When i got mine, i noticed they were stuck, looked like some sort of white greasy glue, on one door. Cleared them out and all good.
