Been looking at a few different cars over the past few weeks/months. Just curious as to what the differences are between the AH SRI-T and VXR? I know obviously interior, bodykit, wheels etc but is there any difference engine/drivetrain wise? I know they both run the m32 6 speed gearbox but thats about it. Are the turbos the same? Internals etc.

Any help appreciated!

Cheers!

To my knowledge the AH SRi-T uses the same turbo as the G SRi-T. Engines are the same too, but they are labelled LER instead of LET. The VXR on the other hand has all the extra little goodies from the box to give it the extra power output.

Vxr is z20leh, 177kw and 304nm

I think I looked into this, turbos are different, injectors, tune and was it the under piston oil cooling jets or whatever?

Turbos are different, the VXR unit is still considered an upgrade on the SRi-T. 80mm MAF vs 70mm MAF, larger injectors on the VXR, squirters under the pistons on the LEH too.

LER is pretty much the same as a LET, difference there is a ME7.6.2 ECU instead of the LETs ME1.5.5 unit.

I was reading last night on some uk page that the leh actually has forged pistons aswell. Apparenty the pistons have been run up to 500hp in the uk but the rods still only good for 330hp.

Correct pistons are forged rods arent, so thats another upgrade, has a different intercooler set up as well

Early LET apparently has a stronger crank I remember reading somewhere.

Another difference between the VXR and the regular SRi-T is the LEH engine apparently lacks the balance shafts that are present in Z20LET/LER engines.
