Fixing up my mates 2003 Holden Combo xc at the moment.

Welcome. There's been a few XC Combo owners come and go, a couple of which have even fitted the 1.8 litre engine from the XC Barina (Corsa C) SRi and TS/AH Astras. As it shares most of it's drivetrain with the regular XC Barina, I can possibly be of some assistance.

And I also happen to own a Combo, except that it's a 98 SB Combo. Currently it has a dead 1.4 C14SE engine, soon to be swapped for something functional.
