im just wondring how many people out there that have an old opel? i have a 1978 UC Sunbird with 1.9L O.H.C Opel how many others are out there :twisted:

my uncle has a uc coupe

just sold the chev big block 454 that was once in it (headache, after headache, after petrol consumption), and is supercharging a 308. 5 minutes ago, I hooked him up with vn heads :P :P .

Will visit him this weekend and take piccies of it. Been recently resprayed a mettalic grey with antera rims 8)

UC's just have a opel engine with a OZ body. if its a 4. if its a 6 its all ozzy

Heh, that 4 cylinder opel was soon followed by the worst engine ever!

Simple really;

Take one RED motor from Holden
Lop off two cylinders
Decrease compression
What do you get?!?!
The Starfire (aka sh1tfire four!)

You could start saying the VL/VN commowhore was an opel as well, opel parts/designs/etc have been all over Holden... i think the best thing Holden did was the family two motor, it was/is/shall forever more be EVERYWHERE

well the idea of cut off 2 cylinders is corect for starfire but starfire is the 1.6L ohv coz if u look at my 1.9Lohc OPEL the intake exhaust is on the right while the crapfire and the old red are on the left!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :lol: :twisted:

hahaha kadett daewoo holden did bring put a 1.9L starfire
based on the same as the 1.6L and 202 but its carby is
on the pasenger side while mine is on the drivers side
