Hi guys I'm now to OA I purchased a new 2013 Astra turbo sport early last year great car i own a couple other cars as well always been quite the car guy love driving them and tinkering with them quite impressed with the out put of the 1.6 turbo tho struggle with a few little issues I have first small issue I have is not being able to shift to second gear to quick or it crunches every time asked Holden about it and was told it'd not built for that but I'm not so sure about that my wife's previous car was a 2008 Mazda 2 quite a custom little car but you could flat change into second and never miss a beat can anyone help with this? Look forward to chatting with you guys and mabey even going on a cruise or few here is a few quick pics for you to see.

Welcome to the forum mate. Is that a manual you have ? shouldn't crunch, mine doesn't (manual). I did however didn't like the feeling it gave shifting gears when I just got the car but that was all gone when a shortshifter was installed.

I just done 17k too but have been using a short shifter since maybe last year or so. I thought it felt like I was not pressing in clutch far enough. But didn't make crunching noises.
