I was trying to bypass my rear BCS when...

What is this? It seems like it ran from the rocker cover to throttle body, is it needed or urgent? I'm too scared to start the car now..

One way valve. Just tape off both ends until you get a replacement

I did this the other day, I just joined them together again and let it be, it's still fine.
Superglue it even

Cheers. I have both ends taped off for now as advised and it runs fine. It actually goes a whole lot better since my rear BCS bypass.

What would I search for to replace this? I looked for z20let one way valve on ebay and get nothing but dump valves haha!

Ours would be the 6 mm wouldn't it? I might order a 6mm one.

On another note..

I have taped off my broken one way valve now, would it be best to leave it disconnected permanently if I do it neatly? My understanding is it lets the crankcase breathe back into the plenum/throttle body area and the one way valve is there to stop the crank case pressurizing under boost?

As I already have an oil breather on my crank case I figured it's already breathing and not breathing oily/hot air back into my throttle body now through this other smaller pipe?

I just ordered one from Holden for $25.00 but it will take 3 or 4 days from VIC to get here.

Until then I have taped my existing one off on both ends, this should be ok yeah? I do have another external breather pod running off of the rocker cover as well where it used to plumb back to the air filter.
