Hey guys, wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a workshop in Sydney for a LSD install, about to order a Quaife from the UK to go in my SRI-T.

also if anyone has done it in the past, what i am likely to expect in labour costs.

I used to take my Astra to these guys - http://www.corteseprestigecars.com.au/
Euro specialists with a focus on Alfa's.

My current Clio went to these guys to fit an exhaust - http://www.cityperformancecentre.com/

Both located in Artarmon, no idea on costings. Give them a call, I'm sure they could give you an estimate.

Labour wont be cheap dude. Remove and replace would be close to $500 then youve got the added cost of pulling the box apart to get the lsd in.

Pretty sure there is a bearing that needs to be broken to get the standard centre out so make sure the dhop is on top of that to reduce downtime waiting for it.

Are you changing the clutch too?

I am happy to drop the box, with the help of a mate. Just not confident actually fitting the diff. Clutch and lightened flywheel going in at same time.

I took my removed m32 gearbox on back of ute to gearbox factory Connell park, was fitted ready next day for $150 cash

Make sure you get new bearings for quaife, they will preload them when putting in diff

i have had no issues at all with car so definitely recommend them, they actually quote $300-400 as they had never done one. But rang once it was done saying it wasnt to hard job to do so it was less
