If they put a Holden badge on it,it would still be an Opel . Don't know what they want to achieve.pfffft

I think they will have a look at the extreme and base something of that.

When people ask what I'm driving and I say OPC Corsa, I say well it's like HSV in Europe.

Or they could partner up with Regal`s/EDS and do a whole bunch of stuff to them !
Nothing to stop them doing exactly what they done with the HSV Commodore in the past. Taking an SS and hot rodding it further.
Just apply that same methodology to a VXR and make it hotter again.

Remapping the ECU would be a good thing. The OPC Astra's torque wanders around like a drunken spider and there's a fairly cheap remapping to give it a flat 400Nm from 2500-5000 with an improvement in economy. Why it's not released like that I have NFI. I'd like it also if they can remap the throttle response settings.

I'd be taking in OPC1 for a bit of a session with HSV if they're going to offer that! As it is, I might get a friend of a friend to have a look at it.

Well, I'd always prefer to have my car tuned by the same people who service it. Makes sense and you don't have to do silly things like reset it every time you have to take it for a service.
