So apparently QLD residents who moved to an area where a racetrack is are pushing to either limit, or close them down due to noise complaints (come on, really? we were here first!!).

A petition was created to help fight this. I would sign it, but the conditions state that I need to be a QLD resident (dammit).

Here is the link:

Thanks goes to kmhoffy (spotted it on your wall)

and every year, you should sign it. if you beat someone once, are you going to stop fighting them if they have another crack? no, because they will win! ;)

im all for things like this. the public complain about "anti-social" behavior from drivers on public roads. so they provide an outlet where they can drive outside the road rules in a safe manner. the the public complain that the venue created for one of these purposes is too loud? what? do they want the dangerous driving on public roads to increase or something? :facepalm2:

Anyway //rant lol

Just another kick in the teeth for a minority group. This state is run by potatoes so any vote they can get is a bonus (Dont vote). As above you cant have any fun on the street so people take it to the track in a pretty controlled environment and now this.

IF YOU MOVE NEXT TO A ****ING RACE TRACK THAT HAS BEEN THERE FOR YEARS, YOU MUST EXPECT SOME NOISE MORONS.

/end rant.

I wish it was louder lol, i can sometimes here em from my place

its just like the people who move need a busy road and then start bitching about the noise

Always the same in QLD. Person builds a house NEXT to an airport and then complains about the noise. The thing is, they get 1 complaint and they act on it. Complain about them, with thousands, and they don't listen. Will sign this too.
