Is there a problem with posting new threads in Chrome?

Whenever I try writing a new message using Chrome, this area is greyed out. Any ideas why?

never had that issue before and i only use chrome.

Yeah i get that with firefox quite often when trying to reply or edit a post. Just have to reload the page a couple of times before it works.
