I dont think aussies would mind a 3pot depending on what kind of power they will be able to get out of it. Keen to see the numbers though and hope they do better than the cruize

On a side note speaking of power from a 3cyl, Nissan managed 400hp from a 1.5L 3cyl called the DIG-T R. Did i mention the engine weighs 40kgs??

3 Cylinder is the future. The new MINI in 1.5 Turbo 3 Cyl is one of the best engines I've ever driven. So much torque, 0-100 in 7.8 sec and economy of 4.5L! So looking forward to see what GM can do.

No opinion on styling, but does look like a Mazda 3.
