With a gloss black 'Faneca' roof and gloss black OPC decal down the doors.

Thoughts?

New bumper and taking off the badges which took paint with it means there's painting to be don't so may as well be something different.

i think plastidip in this application doesn't last for a great deal of time? but if you're in Brisbane, i know of a place you coud get this done at a good price.

Even a 3M full vinyl wrap might be easier?

A full wrap would be a better temporary option

Ok so no love for plastidip then.

The downside to doing a wrap is I can't do it myself whereas I can do the spray myself.

The other option of course is to just get it touched up in the white and spray the new bumper to match but... Its not lime green! Haha

Or you could spray it properly in DG or COB

What're they? Fully respraying it probably isn't something I'd be keen on though tbh.

The only reaon I platidipped my whole car was because a paint job was costing me 6 times the price I bought it for.No regrets so far

I think that's looks good, but like I said I'm not crazy about vinyling the whole car because I just can't do it myself :(

Anyway we'll see what happens. If it does look absolutely shocking I can just peel it off.

Hmmmmmmm

Wrap even mucked up would look better than plastidipping your car. Not sure if you've seen the plastidip guy in the US that sells the stuff and all his video's on youtube of various whole cars etc... they always look great when he does them but haven't come across anyone who's been happy with it when they've done it themselves. That said, if you can actually apply it with a gun etc yourself then might be worth a go... just a muck up is going to be more problematic than if you had wrap that you can pull off and re-apply or at worst buy a new piece.

Hmm maybe I'll look in to it then.

It's certainly a lot cheaper...

Lol $250 is much better than the $2500 a mate from work got quoted for his GT86... Lol

Yeah but there's doing it yourself with cheap vinyl vs professionals disassembling your car, doing it properly using top quality 3M vinyl, reassembling, offering warranty on their work etc.
