Guys for a while i had a Apexi pod filter mounted on the SRI... After cleaning it yesterday, i found that the inlet pipe was closing over in the heat. So i thought about using the stock box to mount it in... - wouldn't fit... So i decided....drill out the bottom, unrestrict the box, and get the K&N replacement pannel filter....
To be honest, throttle response i think is better, couldn't say about power... as a simple airbox mod would give small gains...

really bad idea to drill out the box mate, all you're doing is making the engine suck in hot air from the bay. Go for a better induction pipe with the standard box

Where would u get a better induction pipe from?
I heard that the Vectra C induction pipe works. But where do you get them from. :?

You can get a flexible pipe from most auto places, run it down to an opening in your front bar
