After discussing the current conditions with the other admins we have come to a conclusion and have decided to change the criteria.

The 100 posts and 6 months time frame will still stand, this part will not be changed.

If however you do not meet this criteria there is now an option for you to list your items.

Anyone who doesn't meet the above conditions can now pay to place an ad.

This money will be 100% donated to the Cancer Council.

As for costs, after much debate, the following has been decided on.

- $20 per thread advertising your car for sale
- $5 per thread that accessories, spares etc for sale

Freebies/giveaways and swaps will be exempt from this.

So if you have a heap of items for sale it is advisable to list them all in one thread.

Continually adding items over a long period of time to bypass having to pay the $5 fee will not be allowed, the Admin Team will still be monitoring For Sale posts.

If you have any issues or suggestions please feel free to let us know.

Cheers Admin Team

Submit the post as per normal, you will then receive a PM with the details to send the money to.

Sorry poita for sending a PM to you asking exactly about this, I missed this post. Might be a good idea to copy this post to the For Sale Rules and Procedures thread as that's what I looked at and completely missed this one.

I was wondering why I could not see this section.

I'm not wanting to sell anything, but happy to see whats for sale. Banning users (like myself who are not a post whore) has reduced the chances for anyone to make a sale if we cannot see what is advertised.
Let alone, charging them to post, only allowing partial viewers. Would it be value for money for them?

I don't want to post 100 comments/6 months if I have nothing to add or contribute.

My 2 cents.

Edit: 1919 posts divide it by 11 years, 22 / 6 months = 87.3 posts. I still don't average the minimum cut off.

I think what is meant by that is you must have at least 100 posts and been on the forum for at least 6 month.
