Hey guys i have just joined this site as i have just been given a TS astra 5D 2000 model with the 1.8 ltr motor and looking for some info on why the speedo wont work its only got 104,000k on the clock?

thx guy27 do you have any info on my problem with the abs light? speedo not working? i have read a few articles on this and if it is the hub assembly is it hard to replace change it?

without properly diagnosing I can't confirm it is your issue but i'd be more inclined to say it is the front passenger hub.
not a massive job to replace. just a few nuts and bolts and a plug. just make sure to use loctite and correct torque specs for everything when reassembling.

Hey guys :D went to the local wrecker up here picked me up some goodies like a SRI front bar with foggies :D and SRI 16" rims still trying to remove the sump as its spilt not having much luck removed all the bolts still wont budge :(
