hi there everyone, my name is tyrone.
I have recently purchased a 2004 astra ts cdx so have decided to join this forum.
I welcome any insight anyone has with my type of car. im mechanically minded but have not really worked with cars too much as bikes were my previous thing.
The cdx was the only car a did like within my budget and as although i like it i have heard some rumors.
There is always to sides to a story though and so far my car seems ok despite the timing not being done since it was first bought.
my car currently has 109 000km
I look forward to meeting all of you in time.

I would advise you get your timing belt done very soon, it'll get expensive if it lets go!

i ordered a gates kit from ultra cheap. got a mechanic mate who says he'll do it for $200. But yeh was a big concern :nonod:

Yeah the majority of us work in retail but manage to swap shifts or get time off for cruises. Good to have someone else down south. Im down at hackham. Not too far from you, also used to stay at the missus place at happy valley quite a bit before we got our own place.
