car stops

hi I have a Vectra js series 2 2001 v6 when im driving it just stops like it has ran out of fuel then it starts and goes for 1 to 10 ks then stops again any ideas thanks

Is it overheating? Does the engine light come on? If so have you checked fault codes?

no its not overheating and the engine came on fault code says crank angle sensor

replace your crank sensor.

got that done but still the same

checked the wiring to it?

could possibly be the trigger wheel on the crank is damaged.
