anyone know where i buy this? anyone know how this works ?
is it as simple as hooking ur laptop up to your car ? how does it work ?

I was looking for the same thing for my car but have been unable to find it. I have a friend who is an ex-holden mechanic who has the cable and computer but the software is the important bit which i can't get hold of neither can he :( .

But once you have all of that you just take out the trim under the handbrake and there is the connector.

ok kool, well i assume any laptop would do , i guess the cable could be bought easily also, this tech 1 module i will look for on ebay.

what are your after.. the tech one hardware or the tech one software module... both are very hard to come accross these days due to no new stock around...

every ones using tech-2 nowadays so tech1 is old news

tech one works with alot of car that are still on the road so its not old news they work with cars upto vs commadore and corsa b mid 95 and below... they are becoming harder to repair and get parts but they are still a very useful tool...
