Hey might be a dumb question but just wanna know where I could get a socket that will fit the head bolts?

Torx bits?

Any auto shop should sell them.
Trade tools have decent kits pretty cheap.

Yeah they are torx bits. Just wanted to get some decent tools for them so the dont stuff up the top of the bolt. Thanks for the advice mate

You have to replace the bolts if you take the head off. They're torque-to-yield, which means they're tensioned to almost breaking point. You can only tension down these bolts once and then you need to replace them after that.

Yeah I know thanks. Theres nothing wrong with the head on the vec or the gasket just like to know for future reference.

Actually, the bolts that are likely to be a right pain in the bum are the ones that hold the back of the timing cover to the head and the ones that hold the upper section to the lower section of that cover. Little buggers seem to strip the heads about 50% of the time.

Head bolts were T50 or T55 sized from memory.
