Please help!!

What could be the reason my "boost pressure is out of range"

Had holden do a diagnostic test and that's what's come up as the fault.

Any ideas? And could this cause a mis idle as well.

Thanks I'm going to get stuck into it soon, could that cause a miss when idling

don't think so. Miss at idle can be anything form plugs to maf. Do a pedal test and see what codes exactly come up.

What would it cost to have a mac sort the boost pressure sorted out and is it a big job

:rofl1:

Don't know mate. Do the pedal test first and see what errors come up. If it's just a bcs, there's a member on here selling a second hand one for 20 dollars.

Ah ok, that one. They are not cheap if you buy them here from Holden. Cheaper from overseas but you'll have to wait if you're in a hurry and the shipping costs for just 1 hose would be a killer. Go to repco or supercheap and get a length of coolant hose pipe in that diameter and cut to the length needed. Is not moulded then but that's not an issue, it'll do the job.

Lol holden just quoted a whopping $212 lol..

:out: Just measure diameter and cut it off the roll at the local autostore. Might have to run it forwards a bit in front of the battery as the connection on the bottle is pointed that way and these break off easy.

Just use some heater hose in the right size as Dutchy said. All mine were replaced with silicone hoses as the rubber ones kept failing!!!

Cost maybe $10 to $20. Better than the $212 for the Holden stealer...
