hey guys im having trouble with my dash lights they dont seem to be very bright at all! ive tryed leds and even those little spot light globes! just doesnt seem bright enough! any ideas??????

If you're using LEDs, the type you use has an effect on brightness. The cheaper ones don't seem to have an efficient angle of illumination, giving the effect of poor lighting. If you're referring to the heater/air cluster, yeah they're a b*tch. For this, you may have to remove any diffusers inside the cluster in order for LEDs to work properly. If you're just referring to the dash cluster, you could probably get a set of EL dials that'll brighten things up a bit.

Having said that, if you're just using regular incandescent globes, try adjusting your dimmer (under the light switch). If that has no effect, you probably have a duff switch.

yeaa the dimmer works but yea still not overly bright. you mean lights out of a el falcon?? what exactly do you mean by EL dials man?

EL is for electroluminescent dials. It's kind of a set of replacement dial faces that light up themselves, rather than rely on the lighting shining through. Do a google image search, you'll see what I mean.
