My name is Dave, just purchased my first ever Holden, Opel, Vauxhall.

2004 Astra G SRI Turbo in Silver.

I've got to say, I absolutely love it!

Looking forward to learning more about the car and scrawling through the 'How To' guides.

Unsure if this is a meet/cruise kind of forum/club but if there's any Melbourne members out there, give me a shout :).

We don't tend to do too many drives etc anymore, due to lack of time and interest from people. However we did used to have a fair few meet ups, some of which were at chadstone, will post on the forum if anything comes up. You're also welcome to suggest an event, I believe one member has suggested a Caribbean gardens meet a couple of weekends from now

I've just come from Club CJ (for CJ Lancers), we used to have fortnightly meets which were pretty good.

Yea there's a 'Hwy Euro & JDM' meet on at Caribbean Gardens in approx 2 weeks.

I don't know much about the OpelAus scene but I'd welcome any chance to see some Astra's and get some ideas :)

I've read that the German eBay is really good for Opel stuff.
