I've been looking into upgrading my dash lights for a while. I looked into it when I had my first Astra Turbo and I ended up buying LEds, and didn't like them at all. I've contacted a few people to ask this question and they arn't sure how to do this. So I thought I would ask here to see if anyone knows how this person got this effect on his speedo dash as I really like it http://img195.imageshack.us/img195/1138/6417lld20.jpg
Someone said it could be leds but there is no hot spotting, it's like it's perfect. and I want mine to look the same. I tried asking the guy but he bought the car like that.
Then I looked into PLASMA DIALS like this picture http://img826.imageshack.us/img826/8682/p1020345hu.jpg But that is a lot more expensive and alters the whole speedo dial then you need some custom white speedo dials (which I can't find) to make it look the same as this and will cost about $200 total.
So anyone know how it's done in that first picture with the same effect ? If I can't do it the same I will probably go with the plasma Dials in the 2nd photo.
