just signed up to this forum as everything I have read here is very informative. We recently purchased a 2003 CDXI Vectra as a second car, its a great looking car that has been well looked after (so the service book say's). hope to have a bit of fun and learn some things along the way...

thanks for the welcome... not real sure if i will trick it up just yet... found some oily sludge in the header tank today. hoping to get some advice on where to start...

I just read that you have oily sludge in the header tank. Fair chance your oil cooler is cactus and will need replacing. I've had the same issue with my CDXi, and it's not too hard to do if you get the right advice.
