May as well. I did when I restricted the airbox.
Just make sure you have the radio code if you've still got the stock radio. Call Holden HQ if the code didn't come with your car.
To reset the ECU just disconnect the negative on your car battery, leave it off for 30 mins then reconnect - done.

No need to reset ecu.

Easiest way to reset is to unplug battery for an hour...

What's the secret to disconnecting without the alarm sounding?
Don't think I have to get a code for the radio, I have disconnected before with no hassle. It's the H

What does resetting the ecu do ?

And can you do this as you described above on a sri turbo 03 ?

Yes you can, all it does is reset Amy codes, reset everything then the car will reteach itself about your driving styles etc.

The ECU would readjust itself anyway - some people think it relearns "quicker" I suppose just like people can feel how much "quicker" their stock car is on 98RON vs 91RON....

Everytime you add something to the car that's different does the Ecu supposed to relearn ?

Yes, but there's only so much the stock ecu and programming can adjust, so for mods like new exhaust on a turbo car, you need to get it tuned manually, otherwise you don't get the full benefit.

Doesnt hurt to reset and is beneficial in some cases.
