Hi all, new to the forum, thought I should introduce my self, Nate from the central western Queensland town of Moranbah.
I have recently picked up a 2006 Astra H CD, 5 door hatch. This is my first late model European car, I have had a few classics previously, namely FIATS, Alfa's and MK 1 Cortinas.
Astra has chrome 18's and 130 odd k' on the clock, and is in pretty good overall condition.
At the moment just trying to get all the little niggly bits sorted out, like worn vinyl on steering wheel, a couple of rattles, and some touch ups.
Not sure if I will get too serious about modding, for the moment a set of lowered springs, pod filter and cat back exhaust should do the trick.although the 1.8 doesn't really have enough go for me, so maybe an engine swap?? I guess I will have to do my research??
