My headunit came with this as the iPhone connection cable. Trying to find a replacement cable with a smaller profile connector to fit into a car cradle I have.

Can anyone tell me the type of USB that this is? Can't find any info anywhere

It doesn't look like any of the USB standards. I take it this is the head unit end, not the phone end?

Looks like a proprietary connection, ie can only buy direct from manufacturer for the small sum of a kidney

Ok so just purchased a bunch of cables to try and get my setup to work. Hopefully it wont crap itself

Head unit to 30 pin -> female 30 pin to male USB -> female to female USB -> male USB to phone cradle
