Welcome. How much work was it putting the astra lip on? I imagine it would be much bigger

hey,
it was not much work at all, i bought it from pick n payless at blacktown for $15. i screwed it on at either end then cut it where the 2 pieces meet in the middle (as these are a 2 piece lip)
it was alot easier than i thought it would be aswell, proberly a 15min job. something different that i have not seen on a barina yet :)

Took the beast down the coast to Burrill, I am at around 250km just above half a tank (mark above half) is this fuel consumption ok?

thats about an hr south of me. lol

not bad consumption for a 1.4lt. poor little thing has to push hard to do 100... my astra used to sit on just under 3 grand doing 100

How many k's should I get out of a tank?
It will use more on the way home up all the hills lol.
On our way home to sydney today :( the holiday was to short, but going to stop at huskission on the was home for the kids to feed the fish then berry and home.

depends on how you are driving. if you flog it up the hills then yeah, will chew a bit.
be prepared for traffic near nowra... its pretty messed up there at the moment.

when you stop at huskisson, go to the ice creamery near the roundabout across the road from the pub.
kids will love it. their scoops are massive too so no need to get a double/triple lol. unless you're an icecream hog like me :D

Finally home after a weekend down in Burrill in the south coast. The barina did well got all the way down there from Liverpool, drove around then back home on 1 tank of fuel ($45) it struggled a little on the way back up the big hill at Wollongong but apart from that I am really happy with my little 1.4ltr :) just wish we could have spent a few more days down there.
