Hi all, I am new to opel ownership. Actually don't have my car yet. Just going through the final RACV checks on a 2000 Vectra 2.6 v6 cd sedan.

Would love to know what people think and also things I should be wary of as an owner of this car.

Thanks guys.

Oil cooler is an expensive job, and it's also expensive to replace the cats.

Timing belt is every 4 years or 60000km IIRC.

Nice cars to drive!

Watch out for everything. They're terrible cars. I love that colour. 47000k's, are you kidding? I've only got 3 Vec's. Can I buy it and relieve you of all those potential problems?

Oh, and welcome to OA :smile5:

Welcome to OA, the 2.6 can be a great motor, nuggz's has gotta be approaching 300,000km and only needs the typical service and replacement items

Well the Vectra got through its pre purchase mechanical ok. No issues with the engine spotted. Just little things. So all things well should have the car next week. Only thing is its a 5 hour roundtrip to puck it up.
