Taken from a post in VVOC.com.

heres a pic of the car before the new water injection system went on, so the filter is still under the bonnet.

astra mk3 gsi, 3.0 twin turbo v6.
full reiger infinity II bodykit,
8x18 on the front with 235/35/18
10x18 on the back with 285/35/18.
side exit 3" stainless exhaust (on passenger side)
direct cylinder water injection.
2 extra fuel injectors, just after the air box

approx on full boost, 450bhp
(when its running)

this car took my mate, jon around a month to convert from a 2.0 i6v into what you see here. hes had to be fare all sorts of probs with this car, and its allways breaking down, last i heard he had just spent £3000 on some new group a pistons to try to avoid them from exploding!!
this was the first astra to ware this kit and have a v6 engine, the next year there were 2 others, calibre coachworks silver 2.5. and a blue belgium diesel.

jon to date has spent nearly £20k getting this car right.

goes like nothing ive ever driven, and breaths fire, trust me.

and if your wondering, it does 11 to the gallon if driven very carefully, so in every day use it does approx 5 to the gallon.

my god...

the most perfect highly modified opel I've ever laid eyes on.

I cannot find one thing wrong with that car (aesthetically anyway).

looks like a calibra v6 engine.... i heard you could get it turboed in the uk....

any of you guys here in australia could do the same thing... but then i would leave the engine in the calibra and drive that :D

Wow what a beast :!:

Yep BR, it definitely looks like the Cali's V6, however 3.0ltr. means it either has a modded bottom end (up from 2.5ltr.) or most likely uses the Omega 3.0ltr. block.

Would be an absolute missle on the road - power to weight is well up there
