Op-com for Astra J

Just a (stupid) question. I have an op-com that works very well on my sri-t g. The new Astra J isn't in the list of compatible cars but that might be because the software is a bit older. If I have the latest software, would my op-com work or would I have to get a whole new unit ? I would assume that the plug is still exactly the same on the new cars. Hope only a software upgrade will do, otherwise this op-com is going to a good home.

Op-com China 08/2010 EN is the latest/last revision.
Theres not a lot of sites hosting the software anymore.
