If you want to stick to a proper fitting and finish OEM front bar, then you have the choice to use either one from a higher up TS model variant than what you have, eg. from a convertible or see if you can score a TS turbo variant front bar...

The TS turbo hatch variant front bar is by far the best looking front bar for the TS model range IMHO...

There's also the choice of quite a few after market front bars out there for the TS, but IMHO none look good or better than the OEM's and none fit up properly or as good as an OEM unit...

Try doing a search on the subject, you'll find heaps especially from modofied TS's overseas, go from there when you see something that you like :)

If you want to have a good look at what the turbo bar would look like on your car, have a look at my ride thread only difference is mines a 5dr hatch...
I agree with what's been said. By far the best looking bar IMHO. Holden I think can supply the bar unpainted and without grilles and fogs for around $350.

That's not bad considering it's Holden. Where did you get yours from faneca ?

Wow, that actually isn't bad. I asked them for a Vectra front bar once, and they wanted $2700. Also unpainted and with no fittings other than the rubber strip.

i got mine off ebay for $700... at that time the bar was retailing for over 1k tho, so thats how i justified paying it haha...

Yeah If you look on the fb page steven mitres posted a pic of his SRiT bar which had a tow bar incident... not 100% on his forum user name but yep adam_92 i think is looking into it too...

Holden are very expensive for parts, i think the reason they came down in price was possibly due to the age of the car now but who knows.

$350 for a brand new TS turbo front bar from Holden ?? WOW that's cheap...if that's the case go for it who ever needs/wants one :)

Mine cost me around $800 think it was all up with fittings from Holden back in 2004 and that was cost price down from around $1200-1500 RRP...

Shortstuff has said its around $450 now but still a good price for the bar

That is a bare bumper though ange. No grills or foglights.

Ah I see so it'll be around the same all up maybe ??

I'm starting to remember a bit more from when I got mine, I think the fog lights were the most expensive components AFAIK more than the bar itself...

I'd say to sabastianx88 it's still worth it to get a new turbo front bar assembly especially if your keeping the car for a while...

Correct. The bumper was about $350-$400, the foglights were $350~ each side the lower grills for foglights were $30~ each side

Nice...

I have similar on my vert, AFAIK yours are either the next or newer upgrade of them or another brand which feature red reflector rings around the reverse light..

Mine have the the reflector as part of the red driving light ring, ie. the lower smaller red light at the bottom :)

No worries, take your time always helps too if you have another car to get around in :)

I had my vert pulled apart and undriven for nearly 3 years whilst doing the mods on it...

What size is the badge? Th badge I bought had double sided tape on it. So that probably your best bet.

Have you thought about making a members ride thread? Would be much better for this sorta stuff than a general discussion thread and easier to find too
