Hey my names matt.
Didnt realise we had to introduce our selves on here before creating problematic threads.
I own one of the very last astras ever made under the Holden badge. an 09 Sri Turbo MY09.5.
I am located in South East melb.
I am currently deciding whether to go nuts with this astra putting a lot of money into it or waiting to see if the new OPC's are released into Aus.
I was thinking about making the car Flat Black, got quoted 2k for it.. still undecided.. any opinions or has anyone done it ?

Welcome to the site mate! I think what you're looking at doing is a very "personal preference" thing. Personally, I don't mind it though ;)

Get it vinyl wrapped, then if you decide you don't like it in a year or 2 you still have the original paint in pristine condition underneath :D

I agreed matt black looks the goods the car would be a keeper for a while after a respray and mods

ok im getting the vinyl wrap quoted, thinking matte black or matte white with some carbo fibre.
Quick silly question, are our Astras in Aus, Opel GTC H or Vauxhall ?
Im trying to source some parts as we speak..

Got the quote back from one guy, for 2.5k for full matte black... and or full matte white with carbon fibre aspects eg bonnet and skirting.
