Any one know the legality of them?

Am i able to get some made up for my Astra H?
If so you rekon they'd be more than 1grand per door and who does these customisations?
I know there are some out there for the G.

I'm guessing you would have to get them engineered or else they would be illegal.

hmmm, 3g... vertical doors or...

a nice deposit on a seriously macking turbo set-up
a wicked stereo system
coilovers
leather retrim for seats and door cars
bodykit

hehehe, your choice, but vertical door kits are all about the wank wank factor IMO. Leave em to the serious show cars and the supercars 8)

Most kits are about $1600-$1800 then add at least $1000 for installation on top of that. The kits that I've seen in Aust only lift the doors to a 45 degree angle or less and are a pain in the ass to get into the car. There is one company in the US that makes doors to go full verticle but require alot of work to install.
Most bolt on kits a crap, the show cars that I've seen them on, once the door is closed, it doesn't line up with panels. Unless you are serious in doing up ur car, I would forget about it.
