MYOB or Quicken?

Anyone use either or both of those?

For and against for each one, need to start using one soon

We use MYOB at work.... but what I suggest you do is talk to your bookkeeper and accountant to see what they prefer.

Ultimately they are the ones who will use the data, so you want to make their lives easier = less billing time for you.

Well after these wise words my my accountant mate

"oh dude. It's like asking $1mil or a punch in the face. Myob myob myob moyb myob.
When a job comes in and it's in quickbooks/quicken, it makes me want to cry."

MYOB it will be.

Unless anyone has other thoughts?

We also use myob as it was suggested by our accountant. Wife did a course and it seems easy enough. No need to get the expensive (and useless) extra helpdesk features and extra tax tables. Just get the programm as is.

Abacus? :p

Most smaller companies ive worked for all use MYOB. Quicken had it's time, albeit breif, but everyone changed back.
