In general shape it looks a bit mini-esque, maybe also a bit of citroen ds3 racing. I can't say it looks horrible.

I reckon if the fog lights on the bumper were lower it'd look better... I want a better pic of the back lol and yeah an opc model wouldn't go too badly!

Done a bit more digging and it appears we are getting the Adam:

"The Opel Adam is an upcoming city car from the German automaker Opel. The Adam will be sold as the Vauxhall Adam in the United Kingdom. It will be launched at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, with sales starting in early 2013. It is named after the company's founder Adam Opel.

The Adam production will begin at the Eisenach plant in Germany in late 2012.

The Adam will use a new family of direct-injected small displacement engines codeveloped by Opel and SAIC. The Adam is based on a shortened next generation Corsa E platform - Gamma II global subcompact platform.

Rivals will include the MINI and Volkswagen up!."

Quite pleased with this as I'm getting sick of the amount of Fiat 500's and Mini's on the UK roads!!

Does that mean its a Holden Barina underneath? Or the Spark. Both are apparently Gamma 2 platforms.

Yep, based on the same platform, although that's like comparing a cruze and Astra J. Will have differences

Opel Australia’s Melanie Kerin confirmed the local brand has “no plans in the immediate future to introduce the Adam” to the line-up, and is currently focused on the launch of the Corsa, Astra, Astra GTC and Insignia in September.

i'll put $10 on coloured wheels. don't think the bonnet will catch on though. maybe chalkboard in the interior of a minivan though.
