it turns on but doesn't load up. no video or sound output. won't get into safemode.

reading up it seems its not uncommon. i'll try putting another hard drive in it in the next few months see if it can run at least again but data will be lost no matter what.

What colour are the lights on the front? Tried booting it without the hdd in?

normal green light when on. red light when off.

didn't try without hdd. will give that a shot later. what happens if it boots without hdd?

Just backed up 42gb of save data then imported all of my trophies. I'd give up if I lost all my shit lol

Have you tried to reset the video output? Switch it off then turn on and hold the on button until it beeps. I had I do this when I done the latest updates

Now at 69% complete. Frigging Nastard races are giving me the you-know-whats. Every time you hit the front, some scumbag taps the back of the car spinning you out.

Yeah, but it's still nice to keep things a little PG-rated at times in case someone takes offence. Gave up for the night, seeing as there was a bit more colourful language coming out on this end. What's the saying? Don't drive angry. Lol.

I'm at 42% now.
finished all the goodwood events. Hopefully they release more and make them a bit more difficult. my slowest time for any of the events was 2 seconds faster than gold times.
Just about to finish national A licence now. will then do the 3rd redbull event.

Managed to get through the IA Nascar events. Once I got the Daytona race out the way, the other 4 weren't too hard. Rainmasters was a pain until I broke out the MB Vision GT. Now 72% and 506/573 stars.

1.07 update is out. Adds BMW Vision GT as well. 961MB download.

1.08 update is out today. 1476MB download, adds Mitsubishi Vision GT car as well as the Ayrton Senna tribute package with DAP racing kart, WSR F3 car and Lotus 97T F1 car. Also added is the 1985 versions of the Monza and Brands Hatch tracks (I believe this has to do with the seasonal events in relation to the Senna tribute cars). Still wishing that PD would add some OPC cars though, but I guess we can't complain about free DLC. I mean, it's free after all. Mid June update will apparently include the VW VisionGTI car, more here: http://www.gtplanet.net/volkswagen-vision-gti/

I guess it's only a matter of time before we see events pop up consisting solely of VGT cars, seeing as there's three now out (Merc, BMW & Mitsubishi).

And another update hits the internets. This time we have 1.09 weighing in at 598MB. Amongst some tweaks we have the addition of a new track, the Red Bull Ring (aka the A1-Ring, home to the 2014 Austrian F1GP) and four cars. These include the VW VisionGTI, Lexus IS F CCS-R, RJN Motorsport GT-R NISMO GT3 and Toyota TS030 Hybrid.
