Hello From The UK

Hi Guys,

We are Bill & Andy, known as The Brothers Grin and we run PVG (Performance Vauxhall Group) a track and performance based club over in the UK. We have already recognised a few names, Poita and Nurb608 and a few others. We have been around the Vauxhall/Opel scene for 15 years and up until last month we drove Europes first Z20LET converted Corsa B (Barina) tuned to 300bhp & 348lb/ft torque and with all the mods to match big AP brakes, diff, coilovers etc

But sadly while at a PVG Rolling Road Event at Courtenay Sport we were involved in an accident which led to the car being written off after 12 years of moderfying and much love :( The upside being with the insurance payout we were able to purchase our next project, an 07 Arden Blue Astra VXR which we pick up tomorrow morning (Monday)

Looks like a great forum and a great scene you have in Oz. Looking forward to meeting new friends and getting involved.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. We picked up the VXR yesterday and its brilliant and we're loving every minute of it. We have used 2 tanks of petrol already!

That would be interesting actually. I don't know of anybody in the UK that have done that conversion. Anybody in Oz?

Nothing has that engine here yet...

We dont get the Insig til sept, even then not the VXR/OPC model, wont see that til mid 2013 probably.

Will make a interesting conversion. Got to drive the Insig VXR last week and the 4WD system is a cracker!
