View Full Version : *NEW* Mobile Forum Style

OK after a little bit of mucking around I have created a mobile version of the website.

This can be viewed directly through any browser.

So if you don't wish to use tapatalk, or on a device that is slow to load try it out.

The site will auto detect your mobile and load straight up in that style.

If it doesn't load in the mobile style you can manual choose it, like other styles in the bottom left hand corner.

If you wish to use the full version there is an option at the very bottom "Full Site"

This will load it exactly as your computer will.

Great to be used on PSP's, tablets, iPhones, PS3's, Wii's, XBOX's etc.

Any issues or suggestions let me know.

Cheers Peter

Not a fan in terms of "ease of use" on a mobile. Might be alright for a tablet though.

Needs some altering, the fonts and menus seem way too big.

Will tinker with it some more, only set it up this arvy :p

Mine keeps saying its not supported but works anyway. Then if i try go to the normal site, thru to settings, it goes back to the mobile site. Any way i can switch it off?

It's due to the way it sets the 'default' forum up.

By default it will use the mobile style for web browsing, so you can manually change it but as found it will revert back.

If the default style is set to none it reverts to whatever the forum default is, which in our case is OA Blue 2010.

Will look into it some more

Not a fan personally. Will just stick with the regular site on the phone.

I like to be able to see the latest thread in the subsections, which isn't shown on the mobile version. (Unless its just my Phone which doesn't show it?)
