With autosalon approaching, I decided to do a few things to my car.
The modifications aren't that extreme, but they do transform the look of the car!
On saturday, I had the car lowered another inch, thus, my car has now been lowered 4 inches.
Just for peoples information, the car steers with full lock, front guards did not have to be lipped, no scraping over speed bumps, legal height off the ground. Only problem(s) are that the car scrubs a little at the back with weight, and the bouncing is terrible.... I really need new shocks.
Further to this, I've attached the SRi front lip. I am telling you now people, if you want this lip, be prepared to use a lot of urethane! Luckily, I had a panel beater do it for me!
I also had my dodgy sideskirt repaired, car looks immaculate!
To try and be different, I've also put on gold pin striping. It's very thin and subtle, and far from ricey IMO.
I also managed to blow quite a bit of cash on car care products... including a product called "back to black". For all you people that have wax residue on plastic impact strips, this is the answer to your prayers!
Anyway people, pics will come soon enough.
Catch ya around,
Don
