do u need to buy the rotors to get pads at half price?

interested in some for Nissan GTR R32 4 spot calipers, the sumimoto (i think) ones.

Yep, you do. In most cases half price is below cost, and only gets covered by the sale of the rotor. What in particular were you after?

SSS_Hoon
7th March 2012, 06:16 PM
was after pads only.

unless u have some undrilled GTR R32 rotors aswell?

Why undrilled? Typically they're more expensive than drilled, and extra holes in the mounting face isn't an issue.

undrilled as i need to get them re drilled to 4x100 PCD

in that case prices on pads only for R32 GTR 4spot sumimoto calipers. Most likely the QFM A1RM range i think, as they would be suited for daily spirited driving with the occasional track day here n there wouldn't they? how noisy are they when cold.

May have missed the point... They don't need to be undrilled to put a 4x100 PCD into them. HEAPS of rotors come standard with extra holes that aren't used, most commonly STi (with have both stud patterns), and VR/VS Commdore rears. Both of which have 10 holes in the mounting face, where only 5 are used.

Yep, definitely! $119 per set front or rear.

Ordinarily, not very, but opposed piston calipers like those Sumitomo's are notorious for noise by design. If noise is an issue then we've both both the Project Mu and EBC shims available that will shut them up.

Yeah I know that, I currently have a set on the car drilled at 114.3x4 as that is what the hubs are, but the car is meant to be 4x100 that is what the rear is so was thinking do the front same so I can get some new wheels, as needing multistud wheels limits the choice when it comes to lightweight performance wheels.

Also was told to get it legal/engineered the rotor would need to be blank n drilled. Something about drilling a already drilled rotor or something like that. Too much effort for now though just keep it how it is n put up with my ugly chromies lolz

$119 is that shipped? If not how much posted to west Sydney 2750. Also how much are the shims. And how do I go about paying for them?

Also what do u have in the way of suspension for a N14 SSS

Shipping on just one set of pads is $12, or else free if you're ordering 2 or more sets of pads together.

Easiest way to order is credit card over the phone, 1300 884 836, or else swing me your details, full name, delivery address (preferably a work or business address!!), contact number and email and I can fire you through an invoice with direct deposit details.

Hi mate,

4 stud Astra front rotors are on the list, $89.76 each. Pad, I'd go QFM HPX, which are a Bendix Ultimate equivalent, but low dust and rotor wear. Normally $79, with the purchase of the clearance rotors, $39.50 for the set.

Yep!
Cool.

Not on special, but front 4000 series fronts are $215.40 each, and rear street series are $181.50 each. The vice versa (street front and 4000 rears) aren't available.

A1RM to suit $119 per set front or rear.

Regards,
Greg
