Can you have multiple ADSL modems running with the same login account details on the same line? Or can only 1 modem synchronise at a time?

IIRC one modem one line.

Depending on the type of account you may be able to use the same account from different locations

In saying that, the line will still have to be active with ADSL on it.

Example: my olds had ADSL but a plan with bugger all download, when I would visit I would put my account details in and thus be able to use my download amount. They were alot closer to the exchange and got speeds I could only dream of at the time!

Ah ok. Just being lazy as I have a phone point near tv but not a cat5/6 point. May just move the modem when I need to or just turn the main modem off and turn the other one on when I need to.

Well I have my modem with the TV but my media NAS is in a different room as its a bit noisy.

I have used two EoP adapters to connect them.

Can't fault them!

I need the modem in the study as the printer is networked to it. I should just get off my bum and into the roof and run some cables.

You can get a wireless print server..

Works for both USB or network printers..

I wouldn't bother running cables just for a printer.

Or you can use a router connected to the printer as a repeater. (no need to connect this router to the phone line)

It's a printer and a desktop pc. Didn't want to spend any more money buying new equipment as I already have a spare modem.

Also don't want to have the printer connected to the pc and shared because that means having to have the computer on all the time.

My cheap spare drink wireless router can't work as a repeater I don't think. Have tried that before.
