Major Forum Update 24/01/2012

After being a little slack and falling behind with the forum software I decided it was about time I updated it.

So here we have it, the new version. On the front end you won't see a lot of differences, but there is defiantly some.

I'm noticing myself the new post editing options as I type this up.

Over the next week or two I will be fiddling, tinkering and modifying as I feel my way through the changes.

Some things may disappear, others may appear. Just be patient and bear with me.


If you notice any issues please let me know so I can look into it and fix it up.

• Registration form – error fixed!
• User viewing thread – only shows one “array” fixed!
• Editing post, won’t go advanced page for editing fixed!
• Thank you for logging in $bbuserinfo[username] fixed!
• Editing tools in reply section have gone fixed!
• Top posters for day, week, month
• Shrunken avatars fixed!
• Users can see deleted posts on Tapatalk

hovering mouse over post quick reply go advanced and cancel

So type your message hit (alt+s) will reply and post it

alt+x will take you to advanced

If I go to edit a post it won't let me go to the advanced page.

Is this update affecting the ability to post items for sale too? I can fill out everything except for the extra information section, and as it's compulsory, it won't let me continue.

I believe this was a pre-existing problem with the template.

Part of the reason I have upgraded to try and weed out some of the problems.

I will be changing the for-sale format soon due to this.

Try again if you can, if the issue still persists send me the info and I can post it up for you

adz has an icq logo on his thingy on the side. its not 1997 anymore. does icq even exist anymore?

Those rules are for them (and a reminder to a few) about how we operate here, and that's where they will stay.

Working with Tapatalk to resolve this issue. From what I understand it's because the posts are 'soft deleted' not 'hard deleted'*

So I will see what they come up with.



* Soft - Can be looked at by admin, they still exist.
Hard - Removed completely from database to never be seen again.

Have you got the http:// in front of it? Wont work unless you do ;)
