Would it be based on the same platform that the Spark is built on?

Works in German, not in English. Unlikely to get changed for an English market though, we've had full name parity for a while...

Does it mean something different in German?

It's not that it means something different - but it appears to have totally different connotations in German. A 'kids version' product made by the company I work for was named in the pattern 'My First <X>'. The Germans objected to this, and decided to call their translation 'Junior <X>' instead. Sounds damn odd to us, and was a right royal PITA to implement, but apparently works for the German market...
