Broken seat mechanisim

Hi There,

I have an 03 Turbo and this morning i tried to access the rear seats but was unable to move the back support section of the front seat forward. The lever on the seat move up and down very easily and would appear as though the spring or cable mave have come lose or broken. The back of the seat feels as though it's locked in place, but can be moved along the rains.

Has anybody else had this issue and if so how easy is it to fix?

sounds like the cable is broken. it does happen from time to time. I'll see if i can dig up the part numbers for whats required to fix it later today.

in the mean time you might be able to mend it. Just open up the rear of the seat (back cover is just clipped on) and see if you can spot where its gone.

i'd start there by checking to see if the cable is infact the issue before going any further.
